  1. OAS has gone up aprox. $400 in 40yrs, unacceptable, seniors are so far behind and struggling more then ever these days. $1576 every month would help 10 fold. Every bit helps even if it’s a top up.

  2. How did Mark Carney cancel the Carbon Tax Rebate without having it voted on in the House?
    The max that a single person can get on OAS, GIS, and CPP is $3,247.55

    This should be the amount that everyone gets once they turn 65, no matter how long they worked.
    But the Government doesn’t work that way. They think the money is coming out of their pockets. They do not care how hard it is for the elderly.

    As one gets older, it looks like they can not retire if they want to live without wondering how they are going to make ends meet

    Every member of Government needs to live on the fixed incomes that the people are living on for a year without any help from the funds they have now.
    I bet they would not make it two months.
