5 Government Benefits You Could Receive from the CRA and Service Canada

As June 2025 approaches, many Canadians can expect a much-needed financial boost from the federal government. Whether you’re juggling the cost of groceries, daycare, or housing, a variety of benefit payments are set to arrive from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Service Canada — with some households receiving hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

These programs span a wide range of supports: from seniors and veterans to families and low-income earners. Some June payments also represent the final round for the 2023 tax year, meaning July could bring increased amounts or new eligibility for many based on 2024 filings.

Here’s a full breakdown of every major federal and provincial benefit coming in June 2025, including payment amounts, eligibility rules, and deposit dates.
